Hick trapper H Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 23 Michigan	Top one is a chicken of the woods/sulphur shelf, its the yellow pored variety, there is also a white pored variety. The second mushroom is a little blurry, but looks like an oyster.

don Wolf trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 7,628 evansville Indiana age72	Looks like tree oysters to me. Brother and I found about 20 lbs. of them last thursday. It is an ok mushroom , but very mild. Wonder what is the best way to cook them. I sautaed some in butter, soysauce and oyster sauce. They was ok then I cooked some in butter, bacon grease and lawerys salt with the shrooms rolled in flour and fried. That was ok, but not a barn burner. I would just as soon have a good store bought mushroom as those.
