If so, how are they fixed?
Thanks

I have ate them. Fixed the right way they are good just like anything. However they need to be well cooked no tellin what they have been eating. Lots of garlic and butter MMM..do them up like escargo.

BTW....be carefull, in many states it is no longer leagal to harvest them.

Yeah it made me mad...I use them for bait.Crack one of them open and put a treble hook in the foot. The catfish love it.Great trapping bait too.We use to be allowed 25 ea,so with the kids and I gave me 100 for mink bait.

at a farm pond i fish they are everywhere on the banks. someone told me that the muskrats are eating them. i thought it would more likly to be coon. a few turtles i cought were full of them!

don't worry over the smart ones. catch the dumb ones, they pay the same.

i can do it because i dont know that i cant.

Otters love them, they leave piles of shells on the shore.
