Alpinist trapper Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 22 Washington State	It's white lettuce, a.k.a. white rattlesnake-root (Prenanthes alba). You can confirm it with a Google image search. Those are the basal leaves. Later on the plant will grow a tall flowerstalk.
