Anchorage isn't Alaska and it's right on the water. Anchorage is the Largest Metropolis in Alaska. Anchorage IS Alaska at it's finest! Definition of a Metropolis : " A large and densely populated urban area." Anchorage has it all!! Roads, JOBS!!! major shopping centers, Low cost Gasoline and Food!!, access to Hospitals, cheap housing !!, ( Ok, maybe not exactly cheap, per-say, but reasonable enough, And last , but not least..... DRUM ROLL!!!!!!!!!! Anchorage is close to TALKEETNA !!!

Ahhh, so NY City is New York then....... -TJ
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

was listening to the TV this morning and thought I heard a familiar voice, looked up to see Pete's name splashed across the screen talking about a fire. Though "He really does work in the summers " Gotta work so I can afford to trap in the winter! Pete A quote from Anchorman came to mind, "He was like a god walking amongst mere mortals. He had a voice that could make a wolverine purr, and suits so fine they made Sinatra look like a hobo..."
To err is to be human. To arr is to be pirate.

Are you planning on another of those trapline safari contests where you take the winner on the trapline like you did the other time ?

With fur prices on the increase, especially for Red Fox and Coyote, It might make for a profitable trapline. Do you have enough Red Fox and Coyote in that area?

I could send you some if you'd like, Ken. LOL.
Hope you and Barb are having a good summer. Been raining here for the past two days; got my garden planted just before it started. Hopefully the upcoming freeze will be over before it comes up. That's really thoughtful of you Rick but I really couldn't accept. We had frost day before yesterday but Barb has been busy planting stuff anyway. Other than Barb getting older, everything going OK here. Are you going to work for Toby this year ?
