There was one 2 years ago that was trapped in Montana that had been released in Colorado. They had collared it and had followed its path from Co up through Wyo and Idaho and 2 different routes through Yellowstone Nat park into Montana near Missoula.
Ordinary men can do extrodinary things....

They aren't a critter that you'd catch accidentally. They are pretty darned wary of anything out of the ordinary in their territory. Or if the trapper did catch it, it never made the news because they never found his body.

Does anyone have a credible knowledge of when the last one was seen in Colorado?
Slyder,
A friend of mine works for the BLM in Colorado, he and his brother took their boys up on the divide a couple of years ago to prescout some elk country....
They told me they saw 2 up above the tree line... I will ask where they saw it, the next time I see the brother that still lives down here......
Good Luck and God Bless you and yours,
bulletbox, TEXAS
Even sheep are smart enough to shade up when it gets over 100....
