This winter I was wanting to try and put up some beaver but I do not have accse to a heated building. The only building I have accese to is a insulated garage that stays about 50 degrees. How warm do furs need to stay at to dry.
Thanks for your comments

They will dry at 50, but it may take a little longer. I would say get a dehumidifier and a fan. That should speed things up nicely.

If you have a fan temps don't matter, as air circulation will it self dry the fur.

However having a constant temp at 50 degrees plus a fan will dry most any pelt properly. The idea is to just keep the air moving around the fur, this aids in lifting the moisture out of them!

Good advice above. I dry mine in a farm shop kept at 50-52 degrees and two cieling fans running as slow as they will go. It doen't take alot of fan power, just enough to keep a little air moving.

50 degrees in dry air is fine. You just need it to dry before it rots. Dry and cool is better than warm and moist.
