If I gt 2 seasons out of a pr of hip waders I consider myself lucky, most of the time it is from one season to the next with me buying a new pr in the middle of the season.

I have posted this before but worth doing again. Listen up folks. Every one knows about the sun breaking down rubber. Enough said there. The other main reason why they go to h--l in storeage is because they are put in a room with an electric motor that runs regularly. (freezer, refrigerator, water pump, ect.) I don't use hip boots much but the ones I do have are probably 15 years old, maybe even older, and look like new. Stored laying flat or hung, out of the sun, dry, and AWAY FROM AN ELECTRIC MOTOR.

I have 2 wader hangers I purchased at Wal-mart. Just a plastic bracket that is screwed tp the wall. It pinches the waders at the ankle and they are suspended upside down.
I believe they were less then $5 and work super !
