Hey stranger!!!! It's good to see you! We have just been soooooo busy around here. The year has started out slow but we have been slammed with rain. I'm just thankful for the couple so far. We'll be hitting it harder over the next few weeks now that we have snow finally. How are you and the old man doing? Are we going to see you guys again next spring?

Still getting some foxes despite a reduced effort (finals this week and next). I had 9 snares out and picked up these critters today on a 48 hour check...

Pawpincher I think you'll need a really big spoon to clean the fat out of the hide of THAT fat fox.

I don't really know why but that process, scraping the fat off the fox hide with a spoon after dribbling it with warm, soapy water, almost makes me heave. ???

Ha! It's the spoon!! I just figured it out!

They have never returned three Brown bear rugs from bears that were sent to them about 4 years ago. Friends of mine left Alaska after teaching in St. Mary's for a couple of years. They also kept half the money they put down as a deposit?
They left the state and could never get a hold of them again. A real bummer for them. Just wondering. They asked if I would inquire about them. Figured you folks would be some of the best to ask.
