I prefer using a cheap blender. Makes short work of them.

LOL I smoked a blender about 30 years ago. Didn't know how to dry them and they were too dry. LOL
Melted in a heart beat. Good thing it was a throw away I found in the trash. The little lady at the time would of been a widow.

you can still buy those hand grinders from Lehman's in Kidron, Ohio www.lehmans.com that's what I use Being metal, does the odor wash totally out of them or do you need to make it a dedicated bait grinder?

LOL I don't know, but I think I would. Go to flea markets,grarge sales and pick them up cheaper than at Lehmans. Even on Ebay will be cheaper.

I have several grinders. Universal Brand I believe.
Still prefer a cheap blender. I suppose mine has ground Castor from over 100 Beaver. I give maybe $15 for it.

I'm new here and was curious.... What if anything do you add to the casters after you grind them... for lure?

I add 2 eggs, some tomatoes, a can of Mackerel and one diced up onion... mix together and fry up in little patties!
