I would check with your buyer how he wants it skinned (1st or 2nd pic of bushmasters post) or if you sell to a auction house (NAFA as an example) you would probably get more from the first pic, but I do believe a few decades ago they like the circle way (2nd pic) better.

Either way will work at NAFA, the second pic will dry much faster with less chance of slpping, cased badgers tend to not want to dry very well IMOP. We also use borax on all badgers.
