i was recent;y skanning the archives and found a couple of posts about borax. i started reading them and got interested. one thing that i didnt understand was whether yourub it on the fur side or just the leather? and if you have a tumbler, do you put some in with the furs? if so how much?
if there is anything lese i need to know about borax please post

Just rub the borax on the leather side only..Works real well, I use it on turkey skins and tailfans too..works great.

i like it alot... it also shows you where you missed some fat at or at least it did for me

I think some of the folks trapping those high dollar cats dust the whole thing - inside and out.

Only if you have shot them with a 444........LOL

Used as a dry wash to clean the fur of grease dried blood ect.. it will brighten the fur..works on the inside also.

leather side only, in any areas that are likley to dry slowly, ie., head, frt legs underneith, etc...

It'll do wonders on getting blood out of fur! It'll also help you leather dry on your K9's and cats...just be sure not to apply it when the leather is out or you'll have some stiff furs when you TRY to turn them!
