Most every animal you dispatch has fleas. ??????? They all seem to leave as soon as the body heat is gone.

Farrier, I know you have the plague in the southwest animals, never heard of it here before. Those fleas seem to be able to live a long time after the coon is dead and cold and you would think the fleas would be dead but they just keep hanging on. I've never had a problem with them biting me, however they used to go after my dad for some reason. If you have pets they might get them too. Raid em if you want to I've never bothered with it
WHO MADE THIS MESS ALL OVER MY FLOOR THE MUDTRACKER WAS HERE HE HE HE

Everything I trap has them. Go through alot of raid. Had an old trapper tell me that isopropyl alcohol in a trash bag would take care of them but I haven't tried it. Spent fifty dollars on raid last year though, maybe the alcohol thing would save me some bucks, anyone use or know about it?
If you dont try, you will never know

A little rubbing alcohol on a rag, just a little, thrown into a garbage bag with the critter and left a few hours will kill every insect there is. Picked that trick up when I worked as a repair technician for Nintendo. We immediately put every single system that came into the shop from a city or from the south into a bag with a paper towel wetted with alcohol to kill the cockroaches.
