Hello everyone. I was wondering how long should I let my snares hang out after spary painting them tan and brown? Deer gun season is next week in ohio and I am going to pull my snares for that week.

Thanks Justin

Why bother painting them, it is not necessary.

If you decide to spray paint them give them a at least three days above freezing temps to dry and lose the smell. Some people frown on it but up here in AK I spray paint them white to blend in with the snow. Tried both ways and camo makes a differance, breaks up the outline of the snare.

Other than Newt, I consider ADC the go-to guy when it comes to snares. He spray paints his, and that's reason enough for me to spray mine. It can't hurt and why not hedge your bet?

It takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile, but only 3 for a proper trigger squeeze.
