Topic for the day !!

Why are Alaskans so dang picky about their Ice Cream ??

A. Because they can..

B. Because the cold has affected the neurons in their Brain

C. Because they don't care if it costs $6.00 a pint, when it's good, it GREAT!!!

D. With 6 months of darkness, they have nothing better to do other than to watch TV and eat Ice Cream

AND THE SURVEY SAYS????????

Got 38 degrees, occasional rain showers, an blowing 15, gusting 35 out of the SW. Forecast doesnt indicate much of a change for a few days- looks like rain and snow, maybe back to all snow on thursday.

Nah, wasn't bad at all. Little water over a few roads, parking lot flooded, wind blew my hat off.

Gulf waters were too cool to allow her to strengthen.

W17,

Maybe that "water too cool" thing that he references is why you have so few hurricanes there in McGoo....

I bet Pete's right. That may have a lot to do with the lack of Manatee's around McGrath too.

You may get your wish yet!

Since Katrina it's pretty much standard policy for companies to kill production, and evac workers when a storm hits the gulf.

Yeah there was a bump up early this morning but I think they realize there's not much danger from Ida now.

We have Manatees here.

I think you may be confusing the "sea cow" with the more common "Wal-Mart cow".
