Just wondering if they worked for your grizz getters or not?
1. what scent worked best?
2. Are they better than ground fish for bait?
any other suggestions?
Thanks for any help
Ben

I used Wolfers KB, Raspberry, Shimp and anise and plan on buying them again this year. Seemed like Wolfers and the raspberry got the most attention. Plan on trying their new ones.

I had good luck with the grabbers last year. The raspberry ones smell good enough to eat. I think they have a couple of new scents, ozark special and mint maybe? Hopefully Ladysky or Wolfer will see this and reply.

I have all 6 flavors and the shellfish work best for me in my area. I talked to other guys who say anise was best in theirs and see beaverbob's comment above he had good luck on others. You will just have to try them and see which performs best for you. I have done well on the KB's and Raspberry too. I haven't really given the shrimp, ozark special or the anise a fair shake as I usually reach for the shellfish bag. I like the fact you can pre-bait at home (don't do KB or shellfish in the house as momma will run you out) but my wife uses a raspberry as an air freshener in the truck. trapping4darrin, I see no reason why they wouldn't work in a coon cuff, but it might get a little expensive. The whole purpose of the coon grabber is to give the coon a solid bait that he has to pull up against the trigger. The coon cuff does not have a pull type trigger. It is a push type. In addition, once the coon is caught in a coon cuff, he has access to the bait. With the Griz, Trapmaster, and other traps, he doesn't, so the coon grabber can be used over and over. They run about 67 cents each, which would be pretty expensive bait for a one-catch use with today's coon prices.

Ok, I was wondering because I got 3 for my birthday. I might give them a try or try a marshmellow with some lure on it.
