Some of my belly wedges were too thin (I guess) and now I've got 2 yotes that I can't get off the boards. Any suggestions? I was thinking of wrapping a hot/wet towel around the pelt to loosen it up?

What's the fix? I hope there is one.

Put them outside and let them freeze or put them in the deep freeze and give them a rape on the nose on the floor. Then try pulling them off. If I use basswood boards for fur side out skins. I wrap them with newspaper so they don't stick to the boards.

Turn the stretcher upside down and slam the nose end on the floor and try pulling the hide off the stetcher.

When you get them off then paint your boards with 3-4 coats of Thompson WaterSeal and let dry for several days. It kept my otter from sticking like that.

I usually put the stretcher in a vise and then pull on the hide. Always worked for me.

when you tap the board look at the nose end. you can see if you moved the board. there should be some seperation between the board and the nose. drive a spike into a ceiling rafter, hang the board and get a rag to grip with and pull straight down. like TexA said, don't be afraid to really bounce it on the floor. i only use belly boards on otter.
