Hey all,
I am going to run this to the top just because I love looking at finished fur and its also a learnig experience for me. I could only dream of being half as good as most of you on here. Thanks for the wonderful pictures. Hopefully there will be more to come. Thanks Mark

How do you keep the nose on top of the stretcher?

I noticed some of youns hang your fur nose up and some nose down. Is there a reason?

Finishing nail through nose then eyehole, unless he has a difft method I do not know of, if ya do I would love to know.

stupid question maybe but im just getting into this and still havent set my first trap but after skinning how long can they stay on the stretch like that?

RJF after they are fleshed they stay on the strecthers till dry then they can hang like that the rest of the year

Like Garmen said a little finish nail does the trick.

On the question about the nose hanging up or hanging down, for me I don’t think it matters either way the reason the rats were hanging like this is because, this way we could us the room we had available most efficiently..
