Farmer.

Went to school at WVU, graduated with a wildlife and fisheries resources degree. Went to TX worked on a ranch for a year after that. Moved back home and my uncle needed help on my families grain farm, grandad retired and I decided I’d farm. Been here 14 years and really enjoy it. We grow 800 acres corn and soybeans.

32 years in manufacturing, 8 yrs with Maytag, 8 years with Unilever, and just celebrated 16 yrs with the current company. First 5 yrs I was a production worker, the last 27 in management. My current job has me overseeing 19 professionals doing post order management on accounts totally a billion dollars annually.

I really enjoy my job and it allows me to travel to customers when I want to pretty much wherever I want as we ship globally.

Logger in WA and a little bit in SE AK for about 35 years, Hooktender for probably 30 years of that. Did a little construction for a few years when I got too stove up to log, built road and small stuff like septic systems. Built a baseball field for the local school. Been fully retired for about 10 years.
Not sure where the time goes but it seems like I am busier now then when I had a job.

37 years as insurance adjuster/manager. Retiring this July can't wait to spend more time with the grandkids, cows, boat, and hunting/trapping as long as my knees hold out.

Started in the insurance business as an agent in 1967. Said I wouldn't work much past 80. Retired almost 2 years ago.

House framer for a couple of my early years, then on to all sorts of stuff, many irons in the fire at the same time. Commercial fisherman, longshoreman (not proud of that job, about three years), fur buyer, US Forest Service contractor, timberland investment, rental houses, hunting guide, to name a few. I have no plans to stop doing what I'm doing.

Next December I will be 66 and 8 months old, I will then qualify for my maximum Social Security benefits. At that time I will join the "Gun-a-Month" club. But I will continue "working".
