FHA is a good option. However, I posted on here awhile ago that beaver from this section would average mid to upper 20s at FHA. The trapper from up north posted on this thread he averaged $29 on 70 beaver. Unless the market increases substantially then I think that’s ballpark where most trappers will average on a sizeable trapper run collection. I process all my beaver (don’t float any) and the size/quality is all over the board. Not enough shearable beaver without damage in this section to see a high average. Not long ago it was tough to get more than a $10-12 average. This^^^ Yessir^^^ And even further south FH is not a very good option because averages will be even lower than Virginia beavs, especiallyafter the deductions. These beavs might have only reached the upper teens for an all in average. The Rat Wagon aka the Beaver Truck is a very good outlet for us Confederates.

swamp, it's your only option isn't it? Yes...sad, but true. I could ship to FH, but after buying a box, paying freight......you know.... I'm considering shipping bcats there next year, but I'd have to ship them for the June sale. And after the smoke clears GFWC average would likely be close to what auction averages.

Cats certainly perked up at the end of the year. Hopefully a harbinger for next year. I'm thinking that all that oil money Russia is making is helping the cat market immensely.

$60.76 Canadian dollar is $44.96 US dollar.
$49.80 Canadian dollar is $36.85 US dollar.
Just FYI.
Also, if you add up each Canadian dollar amount and divide by 7 size categories...you get $33.45 Canadian average and a $24.75 US dollar avg.
I know this isn't accurate, but it does show an all in number.

Swamp wolf they used a conversion of 1USD=1.32 CND just to help you before the FHA enforcer <Boco>comes on to ring your bell
remember that most Ontario guys dont even prepare their xs and smalls because of the bounty they have to pay, they chop them up and use for marten bait fur attached. ( old habits are hard to change) I Googled Canadian dollar to US dollar. 1.00 to .74 I figured some would eat my lunch in a minute. Especially the loose size averages...lol
