Don't think I've ever seen a June auction outperform a March auction
& I've been shipping to FHA since before they rose out of the ashes
of the defunct Ontario Trapper's Association Auction (OTA).

Even Downey knows this only may have happened once in the last 30 years. That would have been in 2009 following the world economic collapse. Last year even money was an anomaly .

Regarding Mink there was a similar spike in 2017 then back in the toilet.

Happend often for me.At both FHA and NAFA over the years.
When there was no dec or jan sale the better fur will be on the later sale.
June sales were less when they had 3 or 4 sales a year.
Last two years for me the fur I had on the later sales was slightly higher.Last year marten avg in Mar was 61 and may 66.
Beaver avg was 2 dollars higher also on the later sales.

Right. Sometimes the June sale got pushed to September...either way they tended to be clean up sales.
