pet store buy heated reptile rock, will draw snake too it. bob evans Are you serious or am I just gullible..? That was an easy job. The kids were all excited to have a "snake guy" out lol. I did a thorough inspection but didn't find the small garter snake. Will be going back to set a snake trap and seal some holes. We did a fair deal on the inspection but I charged too little on the trap and exclusion part. The snake likely came in through a 1 inch gap in a bulkhead door. Someone had cleared some brush around the area and he likely dove in there for shelter.

woofman, snakes are attracted to heat.the pet rock for terrariums are heated.if there are no other source of heat they will seek out the pet rocks. when looking for snakes I always look at heated appliances, evaporator coils on fridges, around ceiling lights ect. bob evans
