About 3 weeks ago I won an auction on eBay for an item I really wanted. Days went by and the item wasn't shipped, the sellers feedback had some history of shipping late, not a lot but nevertheless there was a history. This gave me great concern. I waited and waited and still no word. I sent the seller several messages without a reply and my concern became greater. On Wednesday I clicked on the button that I did not receive my item on the eBay site. A very short time later I got a message from the seller that they would ship my item the next day. Yesterday I got a message from eBay that I was getting a full refund. That upset me because I did not request a refund, I wanted the item. Today I got a message thru eBay from the seller that they were sorry and they issued me the refund and my item was on the way. I was really surprised to be getting a full refund and also will be receiving the item. I forgot to mention, the seller did say they were hospitalized for a bit.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I had a similar situation on ebay. Only difference was I got a full refund, but not the item.
Must be nice to eat ice cream as fast as you want and not have to worry about brain freeze.

We get stuff here once in a while(like every couple months) from Amazon that we didnt order. When ask how to send it back they say-just keep it no charge, I always wonder what happens to the people who actually order and pay for the stuff.I imagine it is covered by some kind of insurance. Last one was a big box of baking pans, bread tins and cookie sheets, lol. If I dont know anyone that wants this stuff,I just drop it off at the goodwill.
Weird world we live in today.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

I've always had good success on eBay until about a month ago the exact same thing happened to me. No communication from the seller and they had a few late shipping reviews which I didn't think was too bad since they had over 200,000 feedbacks with a 99+% positive feedback rating. They finally responded as did eBay. I ended up with a refund and the item.
Life's too short, enjoy everyday like it was your last.

… you should pay the seller Savell, I did send the seller a check, she made out better this way because there were no eBay fees. I received the item today and it is in super nice shape, it was worth the wait.

Weird world we live in today. I ordered a stormy kromer hat and they sent one 5 sizes too big. I called and they said keep it, we’ll send another. Gave it to my father in law. Ordered another, sent me one a size too big. I called again said you messed up again. They said keep it. It fits when I need a haircut.
