I want to by a 12 issue sub to a hunting magazine that focuses mainly on deer and turkey hunting for a friend? Any ideas? I dropped my last outdoor magazine subscription back when Pat McManus retired and Outdoor life replaced his column with celebrity interviews. I still get FFG and probably always will as long as they stay in print. I love reading the older outdoor magazines, Sports Afield, Outdoor Life and Field and Stream magazines from the fifties and sixties are the best. Eh...wot?

Nothing but truck advertisements and re-hashed worthless articles. FFG is about all that's left. If Eastmans is still around It might still be good,.
