That's a good load of cats, Savell. Pretty good price, too. I really didn't know you had it in you. You should have a couple gallons of good pee from all those.

If you already made a deal it is what it is...but I did about double dollar wise this year compared to last at the association sales. George Kortum bought most of 'em. $84 avg last year and $172 avg this year. Same quality of cats... kind of low to mid range kitties.

Yup! I about fell over when I saw the bid sheet for 'em. My asking price had been $100 and I was prepared to sell for less if I needed to. There must be an emerging demand for that price point of cat.

Well, just think how much more Lonestar you'll be able to buy. That'll nimble up those skinning fingers.

Nice work Savell. Nice haul of cats there. We averaged $50 on the three skinned cats we sold here. Plus we got $6 average on 27 coon, $5 for a mink, and $12 for badger. We worked hard to avoid coyotes (buyer wouldn’t touch them here) but still caught a few. Had a ball with my two sons over their winter break running a small line and about a 3 week effort. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
