Did you catch it near the Birth place of.....Bobby Orr ? Southeast of there actually. This one wasn't on Georgian Bay With 35 mph winds...I bet the bay was not boat friendly

Big white tube jig setup? While that likely would have worked, I used a smelt head jig and gulp minnow body. I never actually do all that well on really big lures for laker. Despite the fact that a few big lakers have had gigantic whitefish tails hanging out of their throats

I just love jigging those things and the small ones out of the finger lakes taste good to. Not so much the ones form Lake Ontario or Quebec. Have caught them on the white tube but mainly use metal- Cleos, Swedish Pimples, blade baits, all work for me. My problem is getting someone to go, there is always a problem, the wind the temp the guys wife. Love jigging, would be bored trolling.....jk
