So the local guy that used to put my beaver up is done so starting myself and wondering if theres any good formulas to use the fat and meat from fleshing for canine or cats?

I render some of my beaver fleshing's down. I draw the oil off and use it for liquid bait, an enhancer for other meat baits and in some lures formulations......after I draw off the oil, the rest of whats in the bucket is ground or rotted down and used as a paste bait base.....I also bag most of it fresh, and put it up in zip lock sandwich bags and freeze it for fisher trapping bait.

Not much better than beaver meat for bait either tainted or fresh depending on your target animal.
