a guy called and said that he had a beaver problem, we went and check it out yesterday, WOW in all my years of trapping don't think I've seen anything like this before, a dam every1/4 mile huts on every other dam, normally I give a place a couple days between checks, but we are going back to this place today, pictures to come later today.

Nice catches Roy. I pulled mine for the year this week, ended up with 54. High water has the travelers moving here but they are starting to shed. I know they would still be good hatters but I am give out for the season.

Nice! That country looks real familiar. That’s pretty much how the area I do alotta trapping in looks. Just never ending, the deeper you go, pond after pond, dam after dam. Google maps helps, but it changes every year. Map shows a huge pond, but it might be a creek and the new home is at the next rebuilt dam.

Looks like a very good place to make about as many sets as you care to make Even though I am no beaver trapper it is nice to see the prices are up enough to get people out trapping them Trappers provide a great service to the general public by controlling animals that cause damage to the habitat of the aera and by keeping animal populations that spread disease I WISH I lived closer Maybe I could ride along I do have several cousins that live in the Kalamazoo area Is that close to where you are ?

well the after story, so the guys as had others in there trapping in the past, so we are working with trap smart beaver would have been nice to know from the start , I would have used nothing but snares, we have only pick up 4 beaver there , I figured we would have 20 plus by now, they have shut right down, will probably have to come back, in winter,
