I think it's pretty cool to see some female trappers on here sharing their stories. Good for you! When you think about it, fur trapping is an extension of an innate skill that most women's brains are wired for. Been successfully trapping men since cave man days right...why not fur? grin

I’ll be the first to admit that I prefer trapping to hunting because I’m not spending ALL day sitting in the cold or tracking a blood trail. Perhaps you have a theory there. Women are not well suited for the most part to enduring harsh conditions for long periods. Setting traps and then going back to check and collect may very well have been our original chores!

If the roof is not to shaded from the tree it may be a nice spot to work on your tan.

Good point...of hunting and gathering trapping is kind of an in-between where being more clever than your prey is necessary for success.

Back in the day men who had 3 or 4 good wives were free to raid and hunt all day long.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

That is a gorgeous man cave. Wow!

Most in this country have things people in other countries only dream about. Yet, they want America to be more like those other countries.
