I would disagree. A 1911 should never need much more than better sights, trigger length and mainspring housing to fit the user (arched and long for me). The further you take it away from proper govt spec the greater the chance of introducing the infamous 1911 issues.

I Put Holosun 507C in green dot. have you changed the battery on the 507 yet? they have an issue that seems to happen after a battery change , careful it goes full laser back at your eye. like the regulation circuit goes , they warranty it , just maybe try not to change my son runs a shadow systems MR920L he has his RMR on the MR920L and runs the 507comp on the CZ Shadow II for carry optics I run almost stock glocks my 17gen4 I run just a ghost evo elite connector and Hienie sights I ran it with factory sights for years , but the difference was noticeable on 20 yard targets my other 2 I bought used from a friend came with skimmer triggers and Henie sight and I just kept running them that way. all my hienies are red fiber front sight black back I prefer the gen 4 grip texture which they kept on the 5 I run grip tape on my one Gen3 extended mag releases on competition guns America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I carry the CR920 and the MR920.
