wow what a wet heavy snow, I believe we got about 14 inches of wet heavy snow, some places won't have power back for 3-4 days, lots of trees down and power lines down, and poles broken, [Linked Image] this was my driveway.

We got 8 inches here. Power was out for 16 hours. 40 mph gusts didn't help. Glad we have a Generac. More minor outages can be expected when melting occurs and the trees snap back hitting the overhead lines and tripping the breakers.

It looks so peaceful and serene. Hope you have power Roy.

We just when a day without electric in our village. We would have been more comfortable at the cabin ... there we would have had heat and hot meals. Funny the number of people trying to find gas for their generators. We just moved into this apartment last fall, wondering if people in the village, with generators is a telling sign about the integrity of the electrical grid here?

Crazy! Was that 2 days ago? We had a dusting in the morning but it was cloudy, cool and a bit windy here.

We have endured several storms over the past dozen years Some where ice storms others where heavy wet snow One of the snow storms hit the 3 rd week of Oct And most of the leaves where still on the trees It was the earliest and most inches of snowfall in my 60 years And one of the ice storms was so bad that the sky was lighting up the sky as the trees where falling and bringing down transformer Even though it was devastating to the people that where out of power for 4 to 5 days including me it was awesome to experience of how destructive a storm can be. Mother nature has the power to be an unkind mother
