I'm extending my front board fence height with deer mesh to keep the darn things out of the yard, maybe,
Thought maybe I should mark the new mesh with a contrasting flagging tape, something they will see easily...Was thinking red and pink might not work as well cause how they see reds....
Any thoughts? the stuff comes in a bunch of colors, so might as well try one that might actually work....

Old timer friend always hung plain white rags on his single strand electric fence. Kept cows and other critters from blowing threw it.

Years ago a neighbor hung aluminum pie pans on his fence and posts. He claimed the pans movement in the wind, reflecting sunlight and the noise scared critters away.

Neighbor does something similar only with aluminum beer cans on the electric fence post. Seems to work for him. Occasionally I have to help him "collect" empty beer cans.

Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

Doesn’t matter what you do, if they want in they’re coming in, lol. They aren’t too bad at tearing anything down this time of year for us. Now during the rut it’s a different story. The 3 strand electric fence around the pasture gets runs through about every day between late Oct until Dec. We hang white hard plastic on the strands and I’ve seen racked bucks go through the fence without touching a strand. But as stated, during the rut I’ve seen a doe clear it and the buck run straight through and not think twice about doing the same on the opposite side when chasing her, lol.

Yeah, I'm afraid it will be a losing battle, trying not to have the place looking like a prison yard but nothing works for long, no sprays, no lights, no red blinky things. If it wasn't for my wife's roses and stuff I'd let the things come and eat what they want.
I need to start eating them but this area is getting too built up to get away with much.....

White rags will imitate the flash of their white tails, a known danger signal to other Deer.
