If you have purchased guns online, tell me who you purchased from and how it worked out. I am looking at GrabAGun in particular. Their prices on some guns seem quite reasonable. Just need to know if they are legit.

I have bought from GT distributors, Keislers, CDNN sports, Buds, Davidson's, and Gunbroker all without issue. The biggest thing is communicating with your receiving FFL to let them know what you are doing so they can send their FFL and know the package is coming. This is even more important if your receiving FFL is already on file with the location you are buying from otherwise they may not know who the gun goes to and if they are a bigger operation may think it is for store stock and it could get put on the shelf and sold. Communication is the key.

Fortunately, I have a good friend who is a FFL dealer.

palmetto state armory , uppers and lowers , the upper ships to your house , the lower ships to the ffl you choose

I always call my dealer as soon as I have my confirmation email tell him what is coming to make sure he accepts it.

Primary arms I bought some lowers had them shipped to my dealer put all that in my name but my wife said use my CC I have to pay the bill on that anyway this month.
it worked but ran into a little issue Primary called my dealer said I have order here for MRS.GCP and the dealer said i don't know her.
So I called primary talked with customer service figured out what happened and explained I am an authorized user on MRS.GCP's card and I am the purchaser and payee just the name on the card is different, the lady at primary called the dealer and said I have a order to ship to you for Pete and he said sure I know him he called me a few minutes ago and explained why his wife's name is what you told me last time.

I have used that card again since to buy a handgun from another place online, because I am an authorized user on the card I just put my name on the billing info at checkout and it went through fine.

1.call your transfer dealer ahead of time know what they charge and that they will accept for you.
once you have a transfer dealer which you can line up before you even start shopping.

2.then as soon as you have a confirmation email call your dealer and inform them you have a gun coming and a little info on what it is.

3.then follow you tracking and don't make the guy sit on it go pick it up later that day or the next day if possible they need a little time to log it in but not a lot.

best to have your payment and purchaser info the same
just keep your dealer informed of what is happening

my dealer does 20 dollar transfers many charge more know that ahead of time.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Ive been scouring the internet to find a decent price on a certain shotgun that seems to be out of stock in most placs like gunbroker and budsonline. Im finding some questionable websites, like one that accepts only bitcoin and zelle. So be careful and do a deep dive into reviews for a website.

That makes buying on line much easier having a friend who is a dealer.

He is, for sure, I just hadn't considered buying anything online before. Thanks for all the replies. Sounds simple enough.

I'd be leery of buying from anyone that wants you to link your bank account or uses Zelle and other forms of unrecoverable funds

My FFL was listed with Palmetto State as a FFL but stopped that because guns were showing up that he did not know were coming he said I’d always give him a heads up when I had one coming. Might be more to that then he let on to but it’s his call.

Since the FFL holder, has to send a copy of his license to the seller, how did he not know it was coming? Being listed with PSA is just that, just a listing of FFL holders. Some FFL holders have a form you fill out for them to send a copy of their license. Your name, e-mail, phone number, sellers name, -mail phone and fax. What you are having shipped. It is just a work sheet so the FFL holder knows what is going on.

With the FFL on file at PSA they were on a list of dealers that they would ship the gun to be accepted for the purchaser. The gun bought online shipped to my FFL then picked up there after the paperwork was done. You ever buy one there?
