Would smoked salmon work for bait? Had some extra stuff in freezer that we are trying to get rid of and thought about using for coyote bait. Anything that I could add to it?

Bet it would work.

All kinds of stuff you could add. Maybe sun rendered fish oil or grease of some sort

I have some used deep frying oil that I have been soaking bones(for flat sets) in. Would that help?

If the smoked salmon is still good for human consumption, I would trade you for some good coyote bait! LOL!!!!!!!!

I’m up for a smoked salmon trade. I make a few varieties that most people would agree are very good. I would trade for proven bobcat/lynx lure.
