Wolfdog91 OP trapper Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 11,954 Amite county Mississippi	Posted one or two pics of this gun before and the markings but these are some more detailed ones. Can anyone give me some info on these ? And nothing used the scope mounts.

Who made it As I understand many were rebuilt I believe this one was shipped to australia after the war packed in cosmoline put in a 55? gallon drum and shipped to US. Mine is a 1924 spanish 7mm. Got brass and dies just waiting for the mold to come back on stock Other then that kinda clueless

coonlove trapper Joined: May 2011 Posts: 849 Michigan	Wolfie, it's an m43 Spanish Mauser in 8 m/ m mauser (8x57). Large ring m98 action. Most of these markings are arsenal assembly stamps. Bolt base been modified for scope use and drilled and tapped for scope mounts. "I'm the paterfamilias"
