Got our taxes done today. Said we don't pay enough in taxes. So we get to pay into Federal 2,000.00 and sum. 900 back from state. Pay 7,700 in property tax. Taxed on gas,electricity,phone,sewer,water, everything that breaks or wears out. Must be a better way ?

Paid in over 22k in payroll taxes, 9k in property, license plates, sales tax, ECT. I am getting a return due to having dependents, and some wright off's. But I find it very discouraging. I worked over a year and a half a worth of hours in a year. There is no way we should be taxed so much.

Work hard, manage your money responsibly and get penalized for it. Yet every government agency whether its a rural township or school board up to the federal circus constantly whines about needing more. I understand how our ancestors felt.

Work and pay taxes. Employ and get tax breaks.

Just got my property tax, up 30%, yikes.

5 digits every year and I don't even make that much after expenses. It hurts when I see them wasting it and I have anxiety everytime I get a IRS letter.
