They investigate themselves and some how we should be surprised that they did nothing wrong? This is just another CYA act to attempt to rebut the civil lawsuits which are not going to get the family’s anything. Supreme Court rulings have said police have no duty to protect an individual.

Until qualified immunity is eliminated there will be no accountability
