About how much y'all reckon a south red or grey fox can pull ? As in say their snare how much for can they put on that cable constantly?

Dang WD! Yall got some large foxes in Mississippi!!

50lbs!

Here in southern Georgia...a red or a grey is about 12 lbs...a biggun = 15 lbs.

More than it's weight.
You must consider the muscle factor.
Say an animal is 12 lbs. The more muscle that 12 lb animal has, the greater the pulling strength

My guess would be around 20# for an average size fox

With a running start and hitting the end of the snare maybe 40#
