Hagz has the components to rig up the fiberglass rods. Stake end, stop end, and the locks. Nice system. Allows you to slip lock off of stake end so that you can carry rods and traps separately. Plus, easy to set traps when they’re not attached to the rod. Been using them a couple seasons. They work well in soft bottom areas.

Are you guys that use fiberglass rods using 8 foot or ten foot rods?

I'm able to get 8 foot smooth fiberglass rods but not 10 footers

I’ve got 8’ and 10’. I use 3X as many 8’. The 8’ are easier to push into the clay or clay/gravel mix we have on small creeks and rivers. I use the 10’ only when I need to reach out further to hit deep enough water.
