I’ve got an 11,000 acre NWR 2 miles from my house.
Last year they paid me to kill beaver
Used to allow some recreational trapping.
Not anymore.
Refuge manager is a great dude, but his hands are tied by their stupid policies.
Policies tend to lighten up with conservative administrations in DC.
