I had a silver CV in the early 80’s. It was a boat. I was appraising a lot of properties in the inner city of Milwaukee at the time. I would wear a suit and everyone left me alone, thinking I was a detective. I had stick on deer whistles on the front bumper and all the little kids thought they were sirens. lol
I had a 2000 Lincoln Continental with the police interceptor chip and 4.6 L V8 engine (end of the model year throw together build and not titled as a police vehicle). Loved that car, great handling and impressive acceleration.

In 1965 I bought a 1954 CV with 110 K on it. Not in good shape.Drove it for a year. Had power windows which broke down and they would not stay up so I spot soddered them shut for the winter!! Took the back seat out and we could haul 2-3 coon hounds when we went hunting. Not a good car to take a date on for sure.
