Ah , the old Ford Crown Victoria. Fav of police depts. I've driven quite a few cop cars , they are equipped better than the civilian ones.

Here is 59 seconds of tire shreading car porn. Enjoy grin

I had a silver CV in the early 80’s. It was a boat. I was appraising a lot of properties in the inner city of Milwaukee at the time. I would wear a suit and everyone left me alone, thinking I was a detective. I had stick on deer whistles on the front bumper and all the little kids thought they were sirens. lol

The crown Vic was one of the last American muscle cars......full frame, solid rear axle, with a V8. Loved em.

I had a 2000 Lincoln Continental with the police interceptor chip and 4.6 L V8 engine (end of the model year throw together build and not titled as a police vehicle). Loved that car, great handling and impressive acceleration.

What sucked worse is when the driver stomped the brakes and you pile into the barrier nose first. They never seemed to like my jokes…..

In 1965 I bought a 1954 CV with 110 K on it. Not in good shape.Drove it for a year. Had power windows which broke down and they would not stay up so I spot soddered them shut for the winter!! Took the back seat out and we could haul 2-3 coon hounds when we went hunting. Not a good car to take a date on for sure.
