No BS probably has the best deal, and it's all coated with the same stuff they coat their traps.
If traps work like the Antis say......I would have no fingers.

MTP, I generally buy from them at a trapping convention to save on shipping costs.

Garage sales I don't need much and buy when I run across it. Down here folks will buy a set of tire chains, use them once and since we rarely have snow or ice they will sell them in garage sales for pennies of what they paid. I bought a set last summer for $2, have enough chain to last me a while out of those If I needed a bunch I would be comparing prices at the trap supply sites and looking for the best deal on good chain, not necessarily the cheapest.

MTP, although usually MTP and F &T have about the same prices, quality and service, so whichever place is your preference. Good tire chains are hard to beat though, I used to get them at thrift stores on the coast, very like BTLowry said, people there would buy them and carry them in their vehicle to go over the pass, then when they got tired of them cluttering up their rig, or they bought a new rig with different size tires, they would donate them. Every one of my rigs has a set of four tire chains in it, plus I have chains for my trailers and fourwheelers. All bought at thrift stores. Most them had never been used. A bunch of my old coyote traps also have chain from tire chains on them. Since I haven't went to the coast to visit family in years, I haven't picked any up though, here the only chains you see at the thrift stores are either plumb wore out or the cheap junk ones. Some of the little car chains are made out of junk metal.

I bought 100' of American made #2 machine chain from F&T.
Seems like it was $50, shipping not included.
Much cheaper than the local farm stores want for the same size imported crap
Ya can't be scared all of your life

I bought 100' of American made #2 machine chain from F&T. It's possible I'm wrong about F&T but I bet you didn't buy American made chain from them. They mark the lower quality chain imported but the higher quality they don't mark, thus some people think it's made in the USA, when in fact it comes from Taiwan, same as the other. Other trap supply places do the same. I know a guy who worked at one of them and he saw both chains coming in from Taiwan.

I don't see American made in their product descriptions. Maybe someone will ask them.
