I set the marked tree, coyote was back the next day and tore up the ground but left trap untouched. I added foreign coyote scat, and a few days later it pooed on top of my poo. a week later it left leg kicking tracks again. I added a little gland lure two days ago and this am the trap held a large female. 100 yds away (same trail) I snared a male. ____________________ Blue line is for reference. red line was original kick marks yellow is coyote pee marking ______________________________ Roughly 180 degree turn in photo angle Trap at red dot, note placed scat at 10-12 oclock on the red dot red circle is new kick marks 2+ weeks after initial set

MChewk trapper M Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 9,877 Northern Illinois	Nice work Keese! I like the way you think. Reset the catch circle area and add a trap close by with a bit of dropping as attractant. Throw another new set in and find a new spot for more snares.

I smoothed the area and placed a baseball sized rock on top of a football sized rock 10 inches from the trap and pushed all the poo up to the rock. There was a fox the next am. He was not cooperative for photos. Just wouldn’t have it !
