I’ve got a few muskrat glands and I am hoping to use them for bait in the spring, Is it as simply as just grinding them up and using them for bait on a float? Thank you

I chop mine fine and mix with a little vodka as a preservative. Use a tiny dab of gland along with a food bait.

What food baits do you recommend? I have some pure anise oil, would that help?

I have never had good luck with anise. I like semi dried apples.
