ol' dad OP trapper Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 1,454 Missouri	I have to spend a week with the wife and kids in Charleston next month. Any recommendations on places to eat, things to do, or sites to see. ol dad "I season my food with hunger"

warrior trapper Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 25,676 Georgia	I barely recall a visit in childhood but I seem to remember visiting battlefields which stands to reason as it was the site of both revolutionary and War Between the States conflict. I'd love to visit Ft Sumpter.

Sumter ferry dock we did it for supper the same day we took the kids to the Ft. America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

If you like the beach and you want to see a lot of people go to Folly beach.... If you do not - go to Sullivans island.
