Congrats on getting the first one As you learn and have success they get a little easier to catch I caught my first red fox on the same day I killed my first buck I had caught a grey fox 2 or 3 years earlier Getting my first red fox. an buck sure was a special day for me .As a young trapper you may not have gotten certified to use CRS (Cable Restraints)If that is the case I would recommend that you take the training course so you can use them to trap They are a great tool to be able to use Anain congrats of the first of what hopefully many more as you learn

Well how did the trapline go today ?. You had a little snow last night.

I pulled them yesterday afternoon because I was honestly worried about the temp dip and the kitty cats in the area. I didn’t want what happened to my fox’s foot to happen to them. Season ends tomorrow here. I’m very happy tho and I am planning for next season. First item on my wish list is a Skunk Sleeper
