Who, in any sort of common sense or sound mind, would stand for the black National Anthem? Talk about division! There is no such thing as a "Black National Anthem" We are AMERICANS! we have 1 NATIONAL ANTHEM. I will stand up for two anthems. The German one as that is where I was born and raised and the American one as that is the place I call home now. The rest is just music.

We should have one anthem that unites everyone and that is our national anthem.

Once this country became a country, the National Anthem was decided upon.

Only time there should ever be a second National Anthem played is when a foreign nation is involved in a sporting event .
Same as done in Canada when baseball games are played or hockey games.
Both should be played for the people of both countries.

Did anyone else notice that somebody painted "End Racism" on the end zone? The irony of which is Sunday's super bowl was the 2nd all time highest rated program ever to air on TV.....second only to the Apollo moon landing. To watch a game where somewhere around 90% of those playing were black multi millionaires.

IMO when you combine the Black National anthem with Black History, month black miss america contest, black entertainment television does nothing but add more division and reason for dislike.
Where is the white history month, Irish history month or any of the other history months for other ethnic groups.
As far as the special for one group that fails to learn that the slaves that were brought to America were originally captured and sold as slaves by other blacks, and muslims but that fact isn't taught in schools anymore.

To be fair the "End Racism" thing in the endzone has been there for about 2 or 3 years now. Every pro football stadium has it.

I would like more clarity on that last sentence...."True to our native land"....If the USA is their native land, there is already a national anthem.

If Africa is their claimed native land whom they are true to, well that's a conflict of allegiance.

Native land usually means where your born, but this feels like a group trying to be set apart with different rules, not assimilating, and that's divisive.

I agree and the color of a person's skin should have no bearing on it. We are all Americans united. Anyone who disagrees doesn't belong here.

I remember an interview he had where he was asked about there being a day set aside for black people. He said it was degrading people of color. He felt it would be no different if a day was set aside for white people. he disagreed with it.

How appropriate: the contaminated Super Bowl 58 resulted in the lowest announced attendance for any non-pandemic Super Bowl.
