Who's to say that God isn't in control?
How many times have you had a close call?
How about those that try to commit suicide , and fail?
How about car accidents that no one should of survived , yet walk away?
D-day, many died young , yet many survived almost certain death.
I don't know why, but maybe the couple we're talking about died as God had planned.
Many old people die holding their life partners hand , and their partner dies soon after.
No one knows when their life will end , even if they plan their death.
I believe if God says it's your time , it's your time.
Why do so many die in natural disasters?
Does God allow it? Or is it part of his plan?
I believe that God has plans for each of us, otherwise ,why am I still here?
5 Times before I was out of grade school , I could of died, twice before I was 3 years old.
Family used to say I had 9 lives , water seemed to be my worst enemy.
How many times have you been alone , and went through the ice, and somehow got out?
There are others like car accidents , going through windshields , roll overs .
There's something that God has planned for me to do , I haven't done it yet.
I may never know when I've finished his plan , and maybe I will!
God only knows!

We have met the enemy and the enemy is us!

I guess one would have to consider if murdering oneself is a sin. If it is a sin, I don't reckon God approves it.

My dad always said that something has your back because how else could three GI’s walk side by side a shell goes off and 2 are dead and the other doesn’t have a scratch. He was a ww2 and Korean War veteran and I never saw him in church in his life but he was a believer that when it’s your time nothing can stop it and if it isn’t your time nothing can stop that either

So, if I pull out a gun and shoot someone in the head, I shouldn't be charged with murder because it was their time to go? After all, if it wasn't their time, they wouldn't have died.

I have watched my parents suffer daily in pain for years. Both have OD'd and almost died 2 times.

My dad can't walk and my mom can barely walk. She takes care of him and he gets by. The VA has a lady come by 3 hours a day 4 times a week to help them both with cleaning the house and hygiene.

My dad was a vigorous man now reduced to sitting in a chair all day and getting around in a scooter and sometimes, on a good day, he uses his walker. Very slowly but he does use it.

Mom does her best to take care of him but she gets frustrated doing that and also dealing with her pain. They both go to the pain clinic for relief and it helps some. Pain med sa re dramatically controlled now and overuse would be very difficult.

I hear my parents in pain everyday. Do I want them to die? No. Would I welcome them being out of pain? YES!!!

I don't know how or if that will happen but I can say I would smile a little with tears in my eyes at either of them dying knowing they are no longer in pain. I definitely would not hate them at all and pray GOD's mercy on them if they did commit suicide.

It's a really hard thing to deal with and think about but I will praise GOD the day they are out of pain.

How many lies will people believe before they realize their own idiocy?

Another thought is how do we deal with hospitals that remove the limits from a morphine drip as a patient is in their last days.

Is that murder or assisted suicide or suicide? Let's be real.

What counts as murdering oneself? Obviously blowing your brains out. How about smoking? Drinking? Over eating? How about not taking medicine if you have high blood pressure?

Loosegoose if you're okay with your last act on earth being destruction of the temple then have at it but please don't try to portray it as a righteous act to God.

I've never once said it's righteous. Of course it's not. None of those things I've listed were righteous, either.
