This, you ain't rebuilt until you do a carb. Yes, the old quadrajet cards were a pain until you've done a few of them. There are good options to it though.

If this is a for-run project, my vote goes to o an EK Honda Civic (96-99). They're a dime a dozen, and they're simple little machines.
Don't go with something too old. If being a mechanic is going to be a career, computers will be a part of life. No getting around it.

I gotta say a Yota tacoma. Older the better out of your year choice. Best I had was a 90, followed by a 95. We also had a 98 that wasn't terrible. Thing is, once he rebuilds it, it'll probably last him 20 years. BUT 1995-2004 had faulty frames, so I'd seriously consider 90-94. The frame did rot out in my 95, but the one in the 98 never did. I really don't think you can do wrong with a toyota from 90-94.

Gas ,Tires , Oil..GTO No puters ..no air bags.. But has Factory AC. Power Windows. Power antenna, PB,PS., Posi rear end, remote mirror Flow master dual exhaust. And can be worked on in the Driveway
