We have a free spirited grand daughter about her age I would guess.

Spent a good bit of time with mine yesterday, she said I think you should have a day off on all the days that I come over. She makes me smile.

They tire you out when the're here ... but you miss them when they're gone.

Saw a sign on a car bumper: "If I had known grandkids were so much fun, I would have had them first."

Must be nice to eat ice cream as fast as you want and not have to worry about brain freeze.

You got that right!!!
Those granddaughters are the best. Mine just have my heart in a special way compared to boys. I can't explain but they are special.

Thanks for sharing the pictures and thread.

Not when they are carrying the creeping crud. All of mine plus their mama's done caught the latest puking bug going around this week. Being grand dad does have some advantages, send them germ factories home. LoL

I agree with all of you. I have a 3-year old that's just the most precious thing to me in the world. I miss them when I don't see them for a while as well. Here is a picture of her going through some tanned furs with me. They also say whatever they think which is hilarious. [Linked Image]

57 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.

She's not skinning yet but did watch us butcher deer this year. Didn't bother her at all. She asked her dad where the eyes were when I was cooking up some chops, lol. She loved the tanned furs. I'll take her on the line when she's a little older. She does like fishing and likes eating them even more.

Walt,

She has a toy doctor kit and brought the very dull plastic knife out, took it over to her dad and started cutting on his arm. When he asked her what she was doing, she said she was taking the fur off his arm! The nut doesn't fall far from the tree.

That is a million dollar smile. I love all 5 of ours and waiting on the 6th very soon. Spoiling them is the most fun.

God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.
