Very nice! Snares are awesome. If we could use decent cables here they are all I would run once the snow hits.

If I may make a suggestion , if you set your snare under that leaning pole quit that as that is a deer magnet and instead of jumping over it they are more inclined to duck under it and get caught then the rodeo begins !
Congratulations on your first snared coyote it'll get much easier now , if you think a spot looks good for a snare set one there it pays off in the end .

Maybe so , however deer can do some of the dumbest things when you least expect it .
I swear one of the first things a whitetail or mule deer doe teaches its fawn is to crawl under things . Just a few words from the wise you can do as you wish .

I'd rather you kept on good speaking terms with the land owner and game warden then to accidentally get a deer in a snare and have someone either write a ticket and or you deal with loss of a property to trap and snare on , that and out here at least farmers and ranchers talk , good news travels fast but bad news travels even faster !
